An Evening On The Avenue

January 19, 2008 – Fox Cities Performing Arts Center

The Third Annual Evening on the Avenue event at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center raised more than $170,000 for equipment and programs at the Theda Clark Medical Center Stroke Center. Prior to a performance of Broadway’s The Wedding Singer, guests enjoyed cocktails and a hors d’oeuvres buffet. The evening included silent auctions for four tickets to a Bon Jovi concert, a New York City theater package, an Entrance 21 dinner and theater package for Jesus Christ Superstar, and use of Perfect Presentations in Neenah for a private party of up to 100 guests catered by Zuppa’s. In addition, the winning ticket was drawn for a raffle for four tickets to the final day of the Masters Tournament in Augusta, Georgia. Guests also heard from stroke survivor, Dave Moscinski, who shared his success story after going through the stroke rehabilitation program at Theda Clark Medical Center. Thank you to everyone who attended, sponsored and helped plan this event!

Masters Tournament Raffle Winner Announced

Attorney Bob DiRenzo of Neenah was the lucky winner of the Master’s Raffle sponsored by Theda Clark Medical Center Foundation, the Bergstrom Corporation and Dr. Omar and Leah Atassi. The drawing took place during the Evening on the Avenue event held in January at the Performing Arts Center.  As part of the grand prize package, DiRenzo and three guests flew to Atlanta, attended the final day of Master’s play and had the opportunity to play golf at Reynolds Plantation while sampling the amenities of the Ritz-Carlton.  More than 500 tickets were sold, helping the Foundation raise more than $53,000 for the Stroke Center at Theda Clark Medical Center. Thank you to all who bought raffle tickets to help support this great organization!

The 2007 High Flyin’ Golf Outing Was A Huge Success!

North Shore Golf Club - click to enlargeThis year’s event was a fun-filled afternoon of golf at North Shore Golf Club that set many new records. A ThedaStar fly-over served as the starter signal for a record 145 golfers.   Golfers enjoyed a buffet lunch, and then due to the overwhelming response to this year’s event, participated in a 4-person scramble.

The day concluded with a bagpipe player, cocktails, hors d’ oeuvres, live and silent auctions and the presentation of awards. In 2007, we raised over  $34,000, which jointly benefits programs and services at Appleton Medical Center Foundation and Theda Clark Medical Center Foundation.
